Plasma spray coatings
Highly versatile thermal spray process
Hannecard offers advanced Plasma Spray Coatings, a highly versatile thermal spray process designed to provide exceptional protection for rollers and industrial components. Plasma spray coatings are renowned for their ability to produce high-quality finishes, delivering superior resistance to wear, corrosion, and extreme temperatures. This process is especially effective for components operating in aggressive environments, ensuring enhanced durability and long-term performance.
What is plasma spray coating?
Plasma spray coating uses a plasma torch to generate extremely high temperatures, up to 15,000°C. A coating material, typically powder, is injected into the plasma flame, where it melts. The molten particles are propelled at high speeds onto the surface of a part, where they cool and solidify, forming a dense, durable, and well-adhered coating. Plasma spraying allows the application of a wide variety of materials, including metals, ceramics, and composites, making it ideal for industries that need customized coatings tailored to their specific operational challenges.
