Hannecard back in the days
Every great company has a story. Ours begins in the small town of Ronse, Belgium, almost a century ago.
This photo captures the original Hannecard workshop, founded in 1929 by Mr. J. Hannecard under the name 'Hannecard Caoutchouc Industriel'. It all started with a simple yet ambitious mission: to cover and protect industrial rollers with high-quality rubber coatings. Back then, the industry was in its early days, and the work required true craftsmanship, technical expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
From these modest beginnings, just a small team in a brick building, Hannecard steadily grew. Our first customers came from the local textile and paper industries, but thanks to continuous innovation and a strong focus on quality, the company quickly expanded its reach.
Today, Hannecard is an international reference in roller covering solutions, with production sites across Europe, Africa, North America and Asia. But no matter how much we’ve grown, we remain connected to the spirit of those early days: dedication, craftsmanship, and a constant drive to deliver the best to our customers.
This picture is more than just a memory. It’s a reminder of who we are and how far we’ve come.
